The Ranks in the Order

The nightfather: All knowing, all seeing. Do not dispute anything that is his word.

The Voice: Carries the word of the true leader and should be treated with the same respect as such.

Lord/Lady: Distinguished in the eyes of our order, Carries the authority over a few members, as well as the information of the larger picture of the order. Their designated work is finding people suitable for the order and alerting the Voice of them.

Elite: The trusted individuals of our order, those whose word carry weight and meaning, as well as having proven themselves worthy of greater authority.

Ascendant: The lesser trusted individuals who have proven loyalty, but not yet in the same amount as those above them.

Archon: The newly proven people who are a step above the Enlightened, yet not with much more knowledge of the order itself.

The Enlightened: Have but the scarcest knowledge of our order and have yet to fully prove that they can be trusted.

Acolytes: They are the newest recruits, the rawest material and in many ways, treated as the cannonfodder if no tainted or the likes are near. They have yet to earn respect or shown their loyalty to the order and the cause, and they should remain in the dark for most information.

Tainted: The lowest of our order and should never be held in high regard or with respect. Their service is to give their lives and no information but the most crucial for their tasks should ever be given.

Addtional information to the rank Elite and above:


Elites: To gain full trust, there comes a price... and rewards.. All Elites are bloodoathed to the leader. This means: Going against the rules, betraying said trust = when a blood oath is broken the person breaking it dies. So by accepting the rank of Elite.. You also accept character death if you choose to betray the order. This of course goes for the ranks above elite too.

Elites are permitted to have "apprentices", none is permitted to have any lesser ranks as "slaves or squires" if they are of a rank below Elite. Those who take upon them to have "squires/apprentices" and treat them too poorly, with too little respect and or dignity, then said squire/apprentice" if so permits their "superior" to do such, will be demoted to their subcomed rank.. Tainted..

If people join the guild and icly already have an apprentice/squire like figure in their lives that they wish to bring with them, the rank issue will not matter, but the case will be debated on an individual basis.

OOC need to know: Lady/Lord = What in most guilds would be considered officers. However.. This guild focuses on people individually creating plot lines, making rp on their own. There is no spoonfeeding of rp in terms of many events a week, lots of individual work thrown around. The people in this order needs to be capable of making rp. Taking initiative. So anyone with the rank lord lady have these responsebuilities only:

1. Choosing some individuals they want the power to order around. At their own choosing.
2. They are to ICLY be able and seek to find suitable indviduals for the order, inform the voice and let her do the rest.
3. Sort out IC or OOC drama should it occur when the voice is not online.

That is the only tasks placed upon the shoulders of the "officers" of the guild and that is the only authority they do have.
